Virginia Thomas Obituary

Virginia Anne Thomas, a long time resident of Richmond, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, June 3, 2017. Born to Louise Adcock Thomas Kinney and Willie Elmore Thomas on January 23, 1930 in Buckingham County, she enjoyed a successful career in real estate and property management, until retiring from Prudential Slater James River. Virginia is predeceased by her parents and her brothers, Willie Elmore Thomas, Jr. and Wilton Ray Thomas. She is survived by her nephew, Ronnie Thomas and her nieces Lynn Mauer, Debbie Baillargeon, Diane Warzybok, and Leslie Hacker; as well as many beloved family members and friends. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Sandra and Kevin Smith and Linda Hanson for their love and support.
Visitation to be held Sunday, June 11, 2017 10 to 11am at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond, Va. Graveside service to follow at 2:00 pm, Cedar Baptist Church cemetery in Dillwyn, Va.
