Verna Herman Obituary

Verna W. Herman, nee Baker, age 93, of LaGrange. Beloved wife of the late Robert. Loving mother of Richard (Karen) and Roger (Peggy). Devoted grandmother of Jeffrey, Brian (Kristi), Amanda and Melissa. Cherished great-grandmother of Maggie Grace. Dear sister of Dulcie Poling and the late Wayne Baker. Mrs. Herman had served as a volunteer at LaGrange Memorial Hospital for 48 years. She was also a longtime member of St. John's Lutheran Church Choir and a member of PEO. Visitation 4-8pm Monday at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Funeral service 11am Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, 47th St. and Brainard Ave, LaGrange.
