TOMAS L. NUNEZ
EDINBURG - Tomas L. Nunez, 67, died Thursday, November 20, 2008, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Born in Alamo, Mr. Nunez was formerly of Mission and had lived in Edinburg for eight years. He was a member of Asamblea de Dios in Mission.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Dionicio Nunez.
Mr. Nunez is survived by his wife, Aurora Nunez; 11 children, Diana Zavala, Amelia Nunez, Herminia Nunez, Elisa Sandoval, Israel Nunez, Tomas Nunez, Jr., Samuel Nunez, Blanca Lopez, Gladys Merida, Samuel Nunez and Joanna Nunez; 47 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two brothers, Cristobal Nunez and Domingo Nunez; and a sister, Soledad Marquez.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, November 23, 2008, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, November 24, 2008, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.

Hi primos Diana,Amelia, Herminia, Elisa Israel, and Tomas Jr. I pray to God that you all can deal with the pain of loosing your dad. I lost my mom 7 years ago and it is hard to live without her. But god has given me the strength to learn to live without her.I knew your dad and he was a wonderfu man. may god bless all of you and take care. Diana I wil keep in touch with you. Take care of yor mom that's all you hae left .
