To Tim Harris family and brother and sister,
I recently heard about the sad passing of Tim. I grew with TIm and lived next door. We played a lot of sports together and had all our childhood summers coming of age. i last saw Tim at my mother's funeral back in 1998. We always reminisced and told the stories of lost youth. My prayers and thoughts go out to Tim and to his immediate family, John and Julis and all those that he knew.

Dear Mae and Roy:
Bob and I are so sorry for the loss of your Father. We want you to know that we are here for you and your Mom, please do not hesitate to call upon us for anything.
Mae, I remember your Dad coming to your swim meets and to water polo, He was so proud of you. Tim will be the guiding force in your future and your career path. It runs in the family!
Roy, if the impression you made playing Eucher with Bob and Steve is any indicator, than your Father was surely proud to call you his Son.
Along with your Mother and Grandmother, Mae and Roy you have a strong family bond. The love I see amongst you is so wonderful. May you live long to remember your Father fondly.

To my dear, dear friends, Mae and Roy...I am so incredibly sad for you. No child should have to deal with such sadness. Your eyes should be shining each morning with excitement for the day ahead, not touched with tears for the father you lost, far too young. He should have been able to see you grow up and share the wonderful lives that I know you’re going to have.
But that’s not the way it happened, I’m afraid, and so now you have to go on…but not alone. Never alone. Right now, in this moment, you have each other, your friends, the world’s best mom, Nancy; in the future many, many other wonderful people will come into your lives including, with some luck, kids of your own. You will always be surrounded by love. But remember that at every step there will be another love, as strong as that coming from those around you, coming from inside where you keep the memories of your dad. He’ll be with you every day, just as you were with him every day when he was here.
So lift up your eyes and look to the future ahead with hope and determination filling your hearts because great things are coming. The sun has set on your dad, but the sun also rises. Greet it in the morning with love and happiness and remembrance of the father who gave you life. That is what he would want for you. His love and his life will be with you forever; may your memories of him bring you peace and strength and happiness and wisdom and courage and great, great love for all the days of your lives.
I love you both and am here for you always,
Karen Peiss

Dearest Mae, Roy and Nancy,
It is my philosophy that everything happens for a reason.
When you think of all the years you both shared with your mom and dad, I know you’ll have countless memories. There are always hills and valleys in life, and your memories will be happy, sad and everything in between. People grow at different rates, and for better or worse, changes in everyone’s lives and relationships change too.
It is all in God’s plan.
But Mae and Roy, there is no bond as great or strong as that between a parent and child. Your father’s love for you never changed. Not ever, and it never will.
I unfortunately never knew your dad in the working world, but based on the condolences written from his co-workers, he was a very successful businessman.
Mae, you and Michelle became such close friends right from the start at five years old in kindergarten. I can tell you Michelle was always welcomed in your home as part of your family.
It is another beautiful sentiment of your dad’s character.
I believe our parents watch over us and are always there to talk with, even more available and intensely in death than life.
When I see a bright shining star at night, to me it’s a symbol of their ever loving presence in our lives that remains forever.
As the days and weeks pass, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
May it somehow help you to know my deepest, heartfelt condolences are with you at this difficult time.
With my love and support,
Christine Bugaj

To Tim's family and extended family:
My sincerest sympathy to Sara and the entire family. I had the pleasure to work for Tim at Butterball and later within ConAgra. Tim was the best president I ever worked for. He was the standard I felt all presidents should measure up to. In this world of corporate corruption, Tim always seemed to be immune. He genuinely cared for his employees and took the time to know us personally and make things right when he could. In my 28 year career, I have worked for many executives but I have never seen a better leader than Tim. From my family to yours, our prayers are with you.

I worked at Nonni's, under Tim's leadership, for 4+ years, from 2004-08. Tim signed off on the decision to hire me, despite the fact that my wife was already ill from Breast Cancer. As her illness progressed, Tim sent several kind notes and was 'in my corner', as much as someone could possibly expect, considering how it impacted my availability and performance in later years. I will never forget Tim for that reason alone. Tim was a great leader and a true gentleman.

Sara, Rachel, Emma, Mae and Roy:
May God's peace quickly and permanently find its way deep into your hearts so that you can readily reflect on your time with Tim for what it was, a blessing. Rachel and Emma, I am so grateful for the love he shared with both of you and for being the best step dad for which any father could possibly have hoped for his children. He seemed to have an abundance of love to go around and I thank Mae and Roy for sharing him with you two. You are all in my prayers!

I would love to share a fond memory of Tim and his wife Sara that I expereinced In December 2004.
My wife Melissa was very pregnant with our son Clayton Tyler. We attended the corporate Christmas party and I am not really sure, but I think it was held that year at the Gilcrease Muesum in Tulsa I think around the 10th of December.
We introduced ourselves to Tim and his lovey wife Sara and wished all a joyus and happy holiday season. Tim and Sara were so nice and if you knew Tim, he always treated his employees as an important part of the Nonnis team.
My son Clayton Tyler was born on 12/24/04. Me, being a proud father that I was, took my son to the corporate office here in Tulsa five days after he was born to show my co-workers the newest member of the Nonnis family.
Tim had just arrived at the corporate office in Tulsa from Chicago, congratulated me, and took my son out of my arms and took him to his office. A few minutes had passed so I went to check to see if all was ok with the "big boss" and the "newest little boss". Tim was just holding him, goo goo and gaa gaaing with my son. But what I will never forget is the biggest smile Tim had on his face.
I will never forget that moment and will tell my son as he grows older of what a great man, leader, and more than anything, a wonderful human being Tim was.
My deepest sympathy goes to Sara and all of the Harris family.

My heartfelt condolences to Tim's family. I remember working with Tim as his admin. assistant in the Marketing Dept. downtown Chicago at Swift & Company, later at Beatrice, Swift-Eckrich in Oak Brook and on to Downers Grove (ConAgra). He definitely was the sharpest knife in the drawer. He would get his work done quickly and would rarely need any editing. I truly admired him for that. I'll always remember tickets to the White Sox suites where he would let me order the menu for the group; and the baseball outings in the park in LaGrange. He will be remembered.
