Thomas Flynn Obituary

Thomas J. Flynn Thomas John Flynn, age 83, of Elmhurst, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Timothy and Leah Flynn; his beloved wife, Coletta nee Eichenlaub; and a beautiful granddaughter, Michelle Carlson. He is survived by his loving brother, Neil Flynn; and his devoted children, Kathleen (Mark) Carlson, Pamela (Roy) Knighton and Michael Flynn. He also was very proud of his grandchildren, Stacey, Ryan, Kyle, Julia, Sarah and Maria. Thomas served his country during the Korean War. He attended the University of Illinois then began a career as a Landscape Architect. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic and his love for the great outdoors. Visitation Monday, April 7, 2014 at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Rd., Elmhurst from 9:15 A.M. until time of Prayers at 10:15 A.M. , going to Visitation Church, Mass at 10:45 A.M.
