Thirza North Obituary
Thirza E. North, 98, of Phoenix, NY, passed away on Monday. Born in Mexico, NY, and graduated Mexico Academy. She was a technician at Crouse-Irving Hospital.
Predeceased by her husband, Harold North, in 1956; and son, James A. North. Surviving: children, Carol E. Remington of Phoenix, NY, Eleanor McDermott of Phoenix, AZ, Ted M. (Sandra) North of Phoenix, NY; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; cousins.
Calling hours are from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday at the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY, with a 2 p.m. service. Burial will follow in Phoenix Rural Cemetery, 126 Chestnut St.

So very sorry to hear of your loss. I was blessed to be able to care for thirza as her home care nurse, and really enjoyed her laugh. She was a wonderful lady.
