McCollum, Theodore " T.W.", age 92, a lifelong resident of Downers Grove.
A WWII Army veteran, volunteered with the Downers Grove Fire Department and Park District. Retired from McCollum Hoist Company.
Beloved husband for 65 years to the late Ann Ambler McCollum. Loving father of Jeffrey (Mary Lou) McCollum, Michael (Gloria) McCollum, Sarah Lutz and Bina Conrad. Cherished grandfather of Jeffrey, Jennifer, Patrick and Joseph McCollum, Courtney McCollum (Scott) Hogan, Susan, Daniel and Elizabeth Lutz. Devoted great grandfather of Lucy Ann Lutz. Dear brother of Jeannette (Elmer) Theidel. Caring son of the late G.W. and the late Beulah McCollum.
A memorial Visitation will be held Friday January 2, 2015, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Toon Funeral Home, 4920 Main St., Downers Grove.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of his wife, Ann Ambler McCollum to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated
