To the Kwak Family
It was quite a shock to her of your Dear Mother's passing. When I saw her last year at the Birthday Luncheon she looked fabulous and we sat next to each other and she gave me a picture of her whole family that she was so proud of! I offer condolences from my family. Tecla and Frank were admired by everyone at St. Cletus and LaGrange. God Bless everyone. Jean Masquelier Tucson, Arizona

Colette,Charmaine, and family,
We are saddened to hear of the loss of your mother. I always admired what a wonderful job your father and mother did in raising all of you. The two of you babysat for us many years ago and I had several conversations with your mom saying that my husband was paying the two of you "too much". Your parents were admired by many, may they be in peace together in God's arms.

Dear Christine & Glenn and Family,
You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May you find comfort in my reflections:
My memories of Tecla are of her "overseeing" a familiar organized chaos full of smiles and fun and football; and daughters and sons; and friends and spouses - of sons and daughters; and kids and grand-kids running and playing; and lots and lots of food and drink. Oh, and did I mention - football!
Praying that the goodness of your Mom and Dad will live on with loving thoughts of good times, while extolling fun family traditions instilled in each of you.

As a long time parishoner at St. Cletus, I was exposed to the loving, Christian family example set by the Kwaks. And while I am an acquaintance, I have enjoyed the times I did spend with Tecla and Frank.
My heartfelt sympathies go to all of you on the loss of your Mother. Your faith, your many happy memories and your close family ties will sustain.

Charlene & siblings,
I was really sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. Knowing you family since I was maybe 10 I know how much she loved each and every one of you. I think I remember the most is every time I would come and hang out with you when your mom would say Charlene we would both turn, I always found it funny that best friends had the same name. I'm not sure if I will be able to make it to the wake. But my love goes out to each of you.

What a sad loss for us - but I am certain there is much rejoicing in Heaven as this remarkable woman of God is welcomed. "Aunt" Tecla was one of those rare people who put everyone at ease with her warmth and positive attitude. She would absolutely light up the room with her presence and she was always so engaging with everyone she met.
I have many fond memories of her and her family. I will always cherish her words of wisdom given to me on my wedding day, knowing that my own mom couldn't be there with me.
She and "Uncle" Frank raised a beautiful family. She will truly be missed.
Please accept the Franklin family's deepest sympathies and know that we will continue to pray for you all. May God continue to comfort you.

I was very sad to have heard the news of the passing of Mrs. Kwak. I am a friend and played basketball with Jonathan at Nazareth and had the pleasure of knowing Mrs. Kwak. I have very fond memories of Mrs. Kwak when Jonathan and I and some other friends went on a cruise after our high school graduation and most recently at our friend Mike Apostol's wedding a few years back. Mrs. Kwak was always so pleasant and always looked so beautiful. I am sorry for your loss and your family will remain in my prayers.

Tecla always had a smile on her face, dressed perfect for any occasion and would listen and laugh at any crazy stories the Kania boys would come up with! I admire the family she (and Frank) raised. I can honestly say I have never met a more friendly, welcoming, caring, loving, & close family! Tecla, you will be missed!
