T.B. Logsdon Obituary

T.B. Logsdon SULPHUR SPRINGS -- Funeral services for T.B. Logsdon, 93, of Sulphur Springs, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with Keith Kilmer and Travis Aven officiating. Burial will be Pleasant Grove Cemetery by Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Logsdon died at 7:10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, at Carriage House Manor. He was born March 20, 1911, in Hopkins County to Gip William and Ruby Colley Logsdon. He married Mozelle Beckham who died in 1980. He married Verdice Goldsmith who died in 2002. He was a retired farmer and an elder of League Street Church of Christ. Survivors include three sons, John Logsdon of Edgewood, Terance B. Logsdon of Tyler and Gary France of Dike; five daughters, LaBritta Gilbert and Sue France Withrow of Dallas, Lucy Lucky of Waco and Betty France Potts and Nancy France Fite, both of Sulphur Springs; one brother, Weldon Logsdon of Houston; one sister, Ell England of Mesquite; 28 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. A son, Gip Michael Logsdon, and a sister, Vuthil Loafman, are deceased. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
