Sylvia Tuma Obituary

Sylvia Tuma, age 67, a resident of Brookfield from 1984 - 2009, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2009. Sylvia was a Real Estate Agent with Gobber Realty in Westchester for 20 plus years and was formerly with Failla Realty in Brookfield. Sylvia was a former dancer with the NYC Ballet from 1957 - 1962. She loved animals and was a breeder of pure-bred Chihuahua dogs and Siamese cats. Funeral was held Friday, February 13, 2009 at Johnson Funeral Home, 3847 Prairie Avenue, Brookfield. Interment was at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Stickney. Sylvia is survived by her husband, Alan D. Tuma (preceded in death by husbands Ronald Rosengren and Alan Solem); son Eric Rosengren; brother Quentin Blewitt; mother-in-law Violet (the late Alfred) Tuma and sister-in-law Merrily Burkland.
