Sylvia Kowal Obituary

Sylvia P. Kowal, 85, of LaGrange Highlands and formerly of Calumet City, passed away July 30, 2008 at Hinsdale Hospital. Sylvia was born March 18, 1923 in Hammond, IN. She was a homemaker. Visitation Friday, August 1, 2008 from 3-9pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Family and friends are invited to meet at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 768 Lincoln Ave., Calumet City, IL on Saturday, August 2, 2008 for a 10am Mass. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City. Wife of the late Henry; mother of Steven (Mary Angela) Kowal and Kathleen (Joseph Nowak) Kowal. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Hinsdale Humane Society, 22 N.
