I was a friend of Susie's during grade school day's at Hawthorne School in Glen Ellyn. We used to walk to and from school together. I remember her gentle spirit and beautiful smile. I pulled out our grade school class photo last evening. I remember riding with her in the family VW bus and playing with Ann and Susie in the Linden Avenue home. Susie will always live on in my heart as part of my wonderful childhood memories.

You have now gained deliverance, my dear Friend. Your sojourn here was short, but meaningful; the blessings you bestowed were many. Now you are held in the eternal light of God's presence. You will be sorely missed!
