Susan Drury Obituary

Sue and I were brief friends while attending Glen Crest Junior High School in the 70s.

Since we were both Drurys, it was kind of cool that, when in the same classes together, she was usually seated behind me.
We talked sometimes about current music and pop culture.

I'm so sorry to hear of her passing at such a young age.

Susan was such a sweet, kind, loving person.In her eulogy Heather compared Susie to a butterfly. I will forever think of her as a butterfly that is spreading her wings in heaven. We will miss her so much but are thankful for all of the fond memories we have of her. She was a beautiful lady.....

Though difficult to understand for those who remain, the passing of Aunt Sue offers us a chance to savor, recount, and pass on to others the story of her life. My condolences to Sue's family.

Sue reminded me of her mother and a little bit of Granny. She always had a wonderful smile and a big heart. She will be missed, but I know she is now with her loved ones which she missed dearly.My condolences to Jim and Rick and their families

Susie was always a joy and delight to be with from the moment she was born. I never heard one thing negative from her about anyone in all the years she was with us. She also was the pride of her parents and siblings. The loss of her mother, my aunt, was very difficult for Sue and I don't think she ever completely recovered from that. I remember how much she loved jewelry. One of the last conversations I had with Sue was that I was going to clean out my jewelry box and mail her some pieces. I dropped the ball and never sent them. I know she forgave me. Sue never held a grudge. Never held on to anger. Sue forgave everyone for everything. She was an angel. Now, she is with her maker, her parents, brother and other family members. I know she is resting in peace now, free from mental anguish and hard fought fears. I love you dear Susie and look forward to the day I can be with you again in Heaven. My love and heartfelt sympathy to her loving family. Thank you, Jim and Gail for taking care of her and loving her so beautifully. Thank you Heather for the kindness, love and friendship you gave her in so many ways. And, thank you Susie for all you taught us.

My condolences for your loss. Life is so short and those we love are gone from our lives too quickly. God's promise to empty the grave in the near future is found at Hosea 13:14. May the God of loyal love comfort you during your time of sorrow.

Susie was a sweet and loving girl and sister. She touched many lives and gave her smiles, love and caring to all that she met. We will love her forever and miss her deeply. She is now free from all her pain and at peace with God in heaven with her loving family that have passed on before her.
