Steven R. Rendulich
Steven R. Rendulich, age 63; beloved son of the late William and Helen Rendulich, née Rodenak; dear brother of Jim (Ania Krol) Rendulich; beloved uncle of Jacob Rendulich; fond nephew of Barbara and Ray Macek; and adored long time life-companion Joyce Hoersch.
Steve was a connoisseur of the simpler pleasures in life. Being in and exploring the outdoors brought him great pleasure. Steve loved to travel and to enjoy the fare and libations of wherever he may happen to be visiting. Music and his favorite sports teams (Bears and Cubs) were passions of his; along with spending quality time with family and friends. Kind-hearted and generous to the core, to have Steve as a friend was a blessing. Like his father before him, Steve was a proud union iron-worker (local 63) who never shied away from a hard day's labor. Lastly, he was a lover of all animals and often went well out of his way to care for creatures others would have dismissed. Steve's passing will leave a tremendous void but he would prefer we do not grieve too long and his parting words would likely be, as he would often advocate, "take care and take it easy."
Memorial visitation, Saturday, February 24, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with memorial service starting at 11 a.m. at Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home, 4343 Main Street (1 Blk.
