Steve Wohead Obituary

Steve T. Wohead, age 90 of Lemont, passed away Thursday May 3, 2012 in his home. Preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Catherine nee Franco, Wohead; his brother John Wohead; and his wife of 60 years, Joan nee Bober,Wohead. He is survived by his brothers' Mike, Frank, and Joe Wohead; his sisters' Anna Wohead, Mary Burke, and Veronica Bartholome; his sons' James, Thomas, David, Philip, and Daniel Wohead; and his daughter Carol nee Wohead Jay. He was granted 17 lovely grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren that will miss him dearly. Visitation was held Monday, May 7, 2012, 3 - 8 p.m. at the Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C. 108 Illinois St. Lemont. Funeral services Tuesday, May 8, 2012, 10 a.m. from the funeral home, to St. Alphonsus Church, 605 State St. Lemont, for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment parish cemetery.
