I wish to extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to Steve Gutierrez's family.
Everything I have seen written echos what I remember about Steve. I met him at Lane in sophomore year in English class if I remember correctly. He was a laid back guy and I always enjoyed talking with him. I was always hoping to meet him again at one of our class reunions. I am saddened that I will not have that opportunity.
My prayers are with you at this time.
Sincerely,
Jeff Gzyl

Stevie,
You left us too soon. There was so many things I wanted to tell you so much to talk about but I thought you were going to be around for many year's to come.
I now have learned that we shouldn't wait till "tomorrow" because that day may never come. But I do know that you loved me and that I loved you so very much. I was proud to call you my big brother. I remember when you'd ask me if I wanted to go to Maxwell Street and I was so excited and looked forward to Sunday's for this was a day that made me realize that you enjoyed spending time with your sister.
There are so many memories that you left behind. You showed me to like listening to The Stylistics, The Commodores, Earth Wind and Fire and so many more. Every time I hear their songs I'll think of you...
I will always keep you alive in my heart and call out to you as I know you'll be another guardian angel watching over us.
I know you're rejoicing in peace with Dad and knowing that will help me get through each day without you here on earth.
I know we'll see each other one day so in the meantime I'll pray for you and our family to get through these difficult time.
RIP Stevie Love you forever
Mary

What do you call a man, who began learning his craft of being a Fierce Protector, a Dedicated Father, a Masterful Instructor and a Loyal Friend all through the Love that he gave his siblings?
