In the early sixties Steve and my art careers followed each others from job to job without ever meeting each other. As luck would have it we were both transferred to Chicago. We finally met and we felt we had known each other forever. We bonded. I will miss the fun we had and our phone calls.
I love you as a brother and will miss you always.

RIP old buddy. You did more for me than give me rides to school in your '56 Chevy. Over the last couple of years, your spirit emboldened me and your friendship enriched me. Always sorry that Norton and I got you kicked off the wrestling team, but I hope I made up for it by teaching you to put the sauce on your gyros sandwich so that it wouldn't be so dry.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Steve and I went to Bloomington High School together. He always had such a great sense of humor. I am so thankful that we were able to reconnect after all this time by e-mail during the last months. Cheryl Turner Hitzner
