Dear Carol and family. We are so sorry for you loss. I have always had fond memories of your family from when my daughter Morgan and Rob were friends. I still have the CD "My Neighborhood" by The Del Souls. We still live at 526 N. Iowa in Villa Park. I am happy to hear that you are a grandmother. I am too from Morgan's twin brother Michael. Just wanted to let you know that we are thinking about you and your family. Karen & Mike Mader, Morgan & Michael II.

Oh Carla, he sounds like a great guy. Anyone who can teach stick shift driving is a hero in my eyes - I wish I had known him, I might be able to get out of first. Much love to Carla and the whole family!

For my beloved Stepdad - thank you Steve for everything. Thank you for rescuing my Mom when she needed it and for bringing Dan and Bob into my life. I was a little spoiled and selfish as an only child when you met me. But my heart was opened up when the boys expanded our family. I will never forget how you helped me fine tune my stick shift driving skills when I learned to drive. You took the time to drive around Villa Park and build up my confidence. There are a ton of things I could write about. So much to fit into this message box. Mainly, you will forever be in my heart and I will always be grateful that you came into our lives. I know you are in a better place with no pain -hopefully there is lots of Motown music happening for your entertainment..Bless you and miss you until I see you again. Love you Carla

May the Lord be with Steve's Family in this most difficult time.
Steve was my friend! We played in our first band together back in HS and boy did he love playing! Last time I saw him it was like, Not a day had past! That is true friendship! Steve, was a Gentle man! I will miss you dearly Steve! God Bless You!

Our prayer to our Lord is that Steve be already in the presence of His perpetual light, united with the other saints in the place where there is no pain. May the Holy Spirit guide and comfort his family during these difficult hours.
A finer man than Steve would be hard to name and we are so proud to have had him call us his friend. We will dearly miss him, his friendly nature, good cheer, music and story telling. I know there are legions of people out there that called Steve their friend and like us, their lives were richer for have known him.
May the Good Lord repose his soul and His blessings be on the Towne family.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Towne family at this difficult time. I played baseball with Steve in High School and during the summer. He just flew around those bases. Nobody ran faster than him.
