The large gathering at the funeral service yesterday was so impressive. It was certainly a reflection on how special Steve was to his family, friends, relatives, work associates, and others. He will be missed.

I went to school with Steve from Sherwood to Ottawa.He was always in a good mood, and made everyone smile. So sad to hear the news of his passing. ;(

Lily, Dave, Michael, Kevin, Mary and Sheila,

I was very sorry to hear about Steve. I have so many good memories of your family.

May the angels welcome him to paridise. May the martyrs greet him on his way. May he see the face of our God this day. Alleluia! Alleluia!

The Mohan family has been a part of my life since elementary school. I had a special relationship with Steve at WMU. We had a lot of laughs, he was a true and great friend. On behalf of your many friends from Ottawa Hills, Class of '82, we will miss you Steve. Thank you for your wit and humor. We are humbled by your fight and courage and how you loved your friends and family. Your spirit lives on for all of us.

One of my fondest memories of high school was one day a group of us skipped school. We spent the afternoon making cookies at Stevie's house. Just hanging out and laughing. Steve always had an smile and made all of us laugh. He was a great guy and I am blessed to have called him my friend. You will be missed Steve. My thougths am prayers are with your family.

I remember you throwing a rock at me in 4th grade co-joined choir because I teased you about something. You missed, and I laughed. That just irked you even more but you laughed too. I wish we could have had another laugh together.

I am so sad for you. "Stevie" was way too young and had more to accomplish!

Steve, his Mom, Dad and I played golf together in Florida a few years ago. What a wonderful day. Everything that others have written and/or said about Steve is true. He was a wonderful man and father. God Speed my friend. Bob Braun

I graduated with Steve from Ottawa Hills(class of 82). I remember Steve always having a smile on his face as he walked the halls of OHHS. He will be missed.
