So sad to hear of the loss of another great Cabela's co-worker. Capt. Steve was a great friend and always there to give words of advice on the best way to do something while fishing. His stories and laughter was one of the easiest things to deal with while trying to get through the day while at work. Steve you will be dearly missed and I hope and pray that you are at peace. You will be dealy missed!!!

Just the sound of Stevie D talking on the radio on Lake Erie will be dearly missed. He will always be in my thoughts while casting weapons on Erie. Fishing with Stevie always made fishing just as fun as when I was a kid. Thank you for the memories. Patrick Johnson (Toledo, Ohio)

Good grief and God's grace! I just found about this last night. To Steph, Lori and Auntie Mame - I am so sorry to hear about this. When things like this happen, it's such a rip off to everyone involved. All I can do is send my love and hope for some of that grace that knows no bounds. I'm praying for Steve's spirit. I hope he is at peace now....Love you guys

Steve's loss has affected many of us. Although he always had a great fishing or hunting story it is his constant smile that I will remember. "Joan from Cabelas"
