We never knew Stan, but we have had the good fortune of knowing his son Martin, and we would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Martin and his family. I am sure it is a comfort in knowing that Stan lived a long and fruitful life. All our best.

Dear Martin, Anthony, Denise, Jessica, Emily and John--
I met Stan only twice, once up at St. John's; and then, the last time, at Jessica's wedding in June of '08. What changes the man lived through in the life he took part in through ninety-two years! And the tenacity! Bravo and Well Done, Old Man!
While the family will mourne his passing, comfort yourselves, especially Martin and Anthony, in knowing Stan, your father and granfather and father-in-law, was well looked after and well-loved, especially in the last decade of his lengthy and faithful life. Bravo and Well Done to all of you!
