Shirley Basco Obituary

Shirley Ann Basco (nee Waitkus), 80, of Downers Grove, passed away on October 10, 2012 with her family by her side. She was married to the late John W. Basco for almost 40 years. Shirley led a rich life filled with a loving family and many wonderful friends. She is survived by her children John (Kathryn) and Kathleen (Jay) Boughton; grandchildren John, Melissa (Bill) Rausch, James, Jayson and Justin; great-grandchildren Julian, Miles, Danielle and Billy. In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks all who knew her to perform an act of kindness for someone and tell them it's from Shirley. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Downers Grove.
