Sara Hein Obituary

Sara M. Hein, age 72 of Naperville, at rest, Tuesday, January 26th, 2010 at her home. Sara was born on July 17, 1937 in Indonesia to Johan and Magdalene Slamet. Beloved wife of the late Louis N. Hein, Sr.. Her cherished children, Louise (John) Koretke of Virginia, Jeffrey (Terri) Hein of Downers Grove, IL, Louis (Renee) Hein, Jr. of Aurora, IL and Mary (David) Holm of Minooka, IL. Her wonderful grandchildren, Connie (Carmelo, Jr.) Lauren, Jessica, Katey, Beth, Nick, Alisa, David, Brandon, Christopher, Jack, Jacqueline, and Mitchell. Cherished great-grandmother of Joshua and Carmelo, Jr.. She was preceded in death by her parents. Sara moved from Indonesia to Holland and settled her family in the United States in 1962. They moved from Chicago to Naperville in 1965 and have resided there ever since. In 1994, she proudly earned her United States Citizenship with her entire family there to witness. Sara volunteered countless hours and years at Central Du Page Hospital gift shop. She also was an active member of SS. Peter & Paul Church of Naperville. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet, Office of Development, 26 W. St. Charles Rd., Lombard, IL 60148. Visitation: Sunday, January 31st 2:00-6:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL 60540. Family and friends will gather on Monday February 1st at the funeral home chapel with prayers beginning at 9:00 AM before processing to SS. Peter & Paul Church, 36 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville, for a 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Private Family Entombment at Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton.
