Sandra Ronne Obituary

Sandra Ronne, nee Holt, 77, longtime resident of Elmhurst, passed away. Beloved wife of Edward for 56 years; loving mother of Brent (Suzanne), Brenda Ronne-Russell, Eric (the late Amy) and Edward (Sophia); grandmother of Kyle Edward, Amy Jo, Lauren Sandra Joy, Luke, Ethan, Emma, Grace, Benjamin and Will; dear daughter of the late Dick and Maxine Holt; sister of Sally (Robert) Klepack, Shirley (Frank) Murray, Robert (Dianne) Holt and the late Thomas Holt and Sue Holt; sister-in-law of Benny Holt; aunt of many nieces and nephews. Sandra stayed at home to raise her children, and blessed her neighborhood in many ways. She nurtured many women through her Bible studies and daily interactions, and her backyard Bible clubs were enjoyed by numerous children. Sandra was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Elmhurst, where she was deeply involved in ministry. Over the years she worked as youth leader, Sunday School teacher, choir member and soloist, and served in countless other ways. But most of all, she was a "prayer warrior" who prayed without ceasing. Visitation at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Rd., Elmhurst from 4:00 P.M. To 8:00 P.M. Monday, August 13. Services 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 14 at First Baptist Church 343 S.
