Sandra Jane "Sandy" Finn, died in her home on February 15, 2015, in Lisle, IL, due to complications following progressive supranuclear palsy. She was 66.
Sandy was born on May 7, 1948, in Hammond, IN, to her parents, Joseph and Helen Seman. She graduated from St. Francis College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration in 1970. She received her Library Technical Assistant Certificate from the College of DuPage in 2000. She married Jim Finn in 1972. The Finns spent nearly 40 years in Westmont, IL, where Sandy worked as the librarian of South Elementary School. She retired in 2004, and she and Jim moved to Lisle in 2011. She derived her greatest joys from spending time with her family and reading to her students.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Jim; her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Greg Gibson of Naperville, IL; her son, Dan, and his fianc e, Heather Price, of Cambridge, MA; and her brother and sister-in-law, Stewart and Mary Seman of Hinsdale, IL.
Memorial Visitation Sunday, February 22, 2015, from 11:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Toon Funeral Home, 109 Cass Ave. Westmont, IL. Funeral Mass Monday 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Westmont.

Jim and family, So sorry to hear of Sandy' s passing. We went to Saint Francis together. The memories are numerous of all the fun and friendship we shared. Tears were shed when it was said to pray for Sandra Finn, at Mass today, I had just been praying for her, and you, Jim. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. She was a special lady, friendly to all. We only knew her at church but her sweetness was evident. God bless you Jim and your family.
