Sandra K. Chase, of Elmhurst, Illinois, passed away at home on October 31, 2020 at the age of 67 years. She was born June 11, 1953 in Plymouth, Indiana to Jeannette and Richard Chase, who predeceased her. She is also predeceased by the "Love of her life," Martin Mehan.

She is survived by her sisters, Sheila (Steve) Persinger, Geneva, Illinois and Stephanie (Frank) Ward of Leander, Texas, and brother, Jeffrey Chase of Hyannis, MA; nieces, Cori (Chuck) Gros and Tara (Jeremy) Kobal, Nicole, Jacqueline and Michelle Chase, Madilyn Kobal and nephews, Hunter, Gabrielle and Elijah Gros; Jeremy Chase and Lucas Ward; her grade school best friend, Holly Rust of Elmhurst, Illinois and her god child, Kendall Rust, and her dear friend and guardian angel, Jennifer Flores, of Hillside, Illinois.

Sandy was passionate about painting and music, loved to cook, and cherished her many friendships. She had an amazing sense of humor and the laughter will always be remembered. She was a passionate leader and believed in supporting many causes. She blazed a lifelong trail of dedication and commitment to her elementary teaching at DuJardin Elementary School, Bloomingdale, Illinois, always encouraging her students to be the best they could be in their lives. She left many life changing memories with her students, teachers, friends, strangers and family.
