Sandra Charles Obituary

CHARLES Sandra "Sandy" K. Charles, the sweetest thing there ever was, age 48, of Columbus, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 23, 2008. Sandy was born in Grundy, VA October 18, 1959. Sandy and her family moved to Ohio and she graduated from Grove City High School, class of 1978. Sandy was a very loving and independent person. She enjoyed celebrating holidays with her family, drawing, jewelry, and watching movies. Sandy also had quite a sweet tooth! She will be greatly missed by her family who were the center of her life, especially her parents, Ralph E. Sr. and Hattie Charles of Orient; sister, Rosemarie (Woody) Buckley of Grove City; brother, Ralph E. Jr. (Jerrie) Charles of Orient; fiance, James Van Sickle; nieces and nephew, Summer Werchowski, Kyle Charles, Kara Schultz, and Noelle Charles; many great-nieces and nephews; and longtime friend, Lorraine Urffer. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. Sandy's funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Canaanland Baptist Church, 2777 Gantz Rd. Grove City. Pastor Mike Blanton officiating.
