Uncle Sam,
You were a very special person in our lives. I have loved you since I was a little girl, and Wayne said he loved you like a brother. Our loss is Heaven's gain, but you will forever be remembered with love. Our love and prayers are now with Merlene. We are always here for her.

Judy and I did not have the opportunity to spend much time with Uncle Sam & Merlene. In the short time we developed a love for both of you. I realize Sam had a tough life but we found you to be soft spoken, kind, gentle and very loving.

I am going to miss talking to my stepdad Sam every Sunday. He was a great guy with a heart of gold. Thank you Sam for being such a good companion to mom. You treated her like a queen and even called her your queen. I'm sure you have found the best fishing hole in Heaven and you are fishing right next to grandpa. Love to you.
