Ruth Burson Obituary

Ruth L. Burson, age 85, long time resident of Downers Grove, passed away. Loving mother of Darrell Burson, Linda Burson (Douglas Rose) and step-mother of Craig (Julie), and Loren Burson. Devoted grandmother of Eric Burson, Tieneke and Kathryn Van Lonkhuyzen, and Nathan Rose. Preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Brunhilde (Romoser) Mohns, and special aunt Ruth (Romoser) Mohns. She was a board member of the Downers Grove Concert Association, and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Downers Grove. Visitation, Wednesday, April 29, 2009 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Toon Funeral Home, 4920 Main St., Downers Grove, IL. Funeral Service Thursday, April 30, 2009, 10:30 a.m. at First united Methodist Church, 1032 Maple Ave., Downers Grove. Private interment at Rosehill Cemetery, Chicago.
