My condolences to the Kerr and Averill families. I did not know your Mother, but I did know her daughter and your sister Peggy (Kerr/Averill) during the early 1970's-1980's and was saddened to hear of her passing as well. I know how much Peg loved her/your Mother, and that at some point she chose to honor her by taking the last name of Averill as well. Would really love to meet anyone from the family that might be interested in viewing some of the Artwork that Peg allowed me to have when we were both students at the University of Akron. Again my condolences to you all, and apologies that I was unable to locate any family member other than through the Guest Book here. Sincerely, MarkMcHenry ([email protected])

Although we haven't seen "Mrs. Dodridge" for years, my mom, sisters and I have fond memories of her coming to our house every Saturday for years to teach us piano lessons. I haven't played for some time, but recently tuned my piano in hopes of playing again. Now, for sure, I will get out my old songbooks and play a song (or two) in her memory. Our sincerest sympathy, The Hansen Family
