Phyllis H. Young/Smith
Survived by her younger sister, Betty Linsley; daughter, Linda Crooks; two grand-daughters; and four great-grandchildren, she had a full and meaningful life filled with a love of gardening and activity in her church.
Born in Grandview, WA in 1917, she later met and married Clinton Young and had 60 happy years with him. A few years after he died Phyllis married Les Smith, a great friend who gave her a new lease on life for several years, but after his demise she found a new reason to go on when she moved into Washington Oakes senior living, where she discovered friendship and a passion to live to the fullest surrounded by a new family of old and new friends.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, September 2, 2008, at the First Baptist Church of Everett, 1616 Pacific Avenue.
