I don't know you but was also touched by what I read in the Chronicle. I'm making a donation in Russell's name to the Living Well Cancer Resource Ctr. Your courageous and much-loved son will go on to help others. You're in my prayers.

Karen and Family,
We were saddened to hear that you have lost your son. What a blessing he was to your family. It is our prayer that the moments of sorrow and tears are soon replaced with the joy and warmth of your memories of the time you had with Russel.

Brian, Karen, Garrett (and to all those who knew and loved Russell),
We were so saddened to hear about Russell's passing. He was often in our prayers as Lisa and my brother Kevin, kept us updated on his health over the years. I met many of the Witek family, at Lisa and Neil's wedding, and know how blessed Russell was to have such a close and loving family. I know he was a blessing to you! My prayer is for God's loving arms to comfort you and the peace only He can provide be your daily companion as you go through the days ahead. I know you look forward to one day being reunited with Russell in our Heavenly home where he now resides with the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, our Heavenly Father. Praise be to God!
God bless you all,
Your sister in Christ,
Karyn Handy (Lisa Witek's aunt)

I did not know Russell but I was so touched by the celebration of his life in the paper that I just had to let you know he continues to touch lives even as he passes on to his next

I feel Paul said it best when he wrote to Timothy
1 Timothy 4:12
Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but see an example for the believers in speech, in life,
in love , in faith and in purity.
For the short time we knew your family this is what he taught to those who came to Genesis.
