Helen, Tom read in the Times-Dispatch about Rudy's death. Though we have not seen you for several years, we wish to express our sympathy for your loss. We remember you from the early days in Bluefield, and of course, your years at Belmont. God be with you and your family during this time of separation. We know he is with the Lord, rejoicing there with Him.

Rev. Woods was my pastor in Luxembourg, his first over-seas assignment. He and precious Helen have been used by God in my life.

Dear Helen and family:
We send you our heartfelt condolences. We pray that God sustain you through this difficult time. We were fortunate enough to get to know you and Rudy as close neighbors for almost five years. Rudy was a delightful and thoughtful gentleman. We will miss him. God has blessed his soul and placed him in Heaven. For that, we remain deeply thankful to Him.

What a wonderful gentleman Rudy was! Main Street Baptist Church grew to love him quickly when he served as our interim pastor.
He will surely be missed.

Dearest Helen & Family, although this is a time of celebration for Rudy because he's with Jesus and I can't think of any place any of us would rather be, he will certainly leave a void on this side of heaven. What an incredible legacy and memories he has left behind. May God's grace and mercy sustain you in the days ahead and may God allow Rudy to send each of you special messages that will bring reassurance of his peace.
