Throughout his career, he was actively involved with the Board of Education, coaching and officiating, and was a founding member of DuPage Schools Credit Union. My sincere sympathy to Mary Anna and family. I had the privilege to teach with Rudy at Downers Grove South High School back in the 80's & 90's. A dedicated educator that was kind and gentle. We both grew up in Joliet and graduated from JTHS & JJC. I believe Rudy graduated with my older sister Joan and he would always ask how she was doing. It was a pleasure knowing and working with him over the years. May you be comforted knowing that he was a special man. Rest in peace my friend.
