Rose Vissat Obituary

Rose E. Vissat, 95, of LaGrange Park, passed away August 13, 2008 in LaGrange. Rose was born in Pittsburgh, PA. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis Xavier Church for over 60 years. She was an avid bridge player. Rose served as a volunteer at LaGrange Memorial Hospital for 38 years as well as the LaGrange Park Library for over 10 years. Memorial Mass Friday, August 15, 2008 at St. Xavier Church, 128 N. Spring Ave., LaGrange, IL 60525. Wife of the late Peter; mother of Maria Nagel, Linda Vissat, Peter (Mary Ann) Vissat and the late Rita Vissat; grandmother of Keith, Jennifer, Karen, Christopher, Elizabeth and Nicholas; great-grandmother of Brandon, Ryan, Elyse, Jason, Taipan and Taisim. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Francis Xavier Church appreciated. Arrangements by Hallowell & James Funeral Home, (708) 352-6500.

I will miss my dearest bridge playing friend of 50 years. Memories of pot luck dinners and bridge games over those years will remain as fond memories. My condolences to her family.
