Rosalie Anderson Obituary

Rosalie Anderson, 81, of Lyons passed away at Chateau Center in Willowbrook on November 7, 2008. Visitation was held Sunday, Nov. 9, from 3-9 p.m. at Tower Home for Funerals, 4007 Joliet Avenue, Lyons. Mass was at St. Hugh Church on Monday, Nov. 10, at 9:30 a.m. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Mrs. Anderson was a secretary at St. Hugh School in Lyons and St. Louise De Marillac in LaGrange Park. She was a member of the Society of Catholic Women and Meals on Wheels. Mrs. Anderson enjoyed traveling, knitting, visiting people and lending a helping hand in the community and to the Village of Lyons nurse,the late Dorothy Stafford. She enjoyed her work with the food pantry mother club and health department. Mrs. Anderson was the beloved wife of the late Robert; dearest mother of Bob (Jackie); grandmother of Bobby, Samantha, Christopher and Sharon; sister of Ansel Sallterrelli, Phyllis Anderson, the late Ronald and Lenore Marco.
