Roland Vokac Obituary

Mr. Roland D. Vokac, age 85, of Berwyn passed away at MacNeal Hospital on Feb. 18, 2008. Visitation Thursday Feb. 21, 2-9 p.m. at Svec & Sons Funeral Home, 6227 West Cermak Rd, Berwyn. Funeral on Friday Feb. 22, at 10 a.m. from Funeral Home to St. Frances Tome Church, mass at 11 a.m. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery. Mr. Vokac was born in Berwyn. He was employed at Armstrong Paint & Varnish Company for 47 years and was a supervisor. He was a WWII in the U.S. Army. Mr. Vokac graduated from Morton East High School and Custer and Jefferson Schools in Berwyn. He enjoyed bowling and golfing. Mr.Vokac is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marion Vokac (nee Bruno); his daughter, Diana Everhart; his sons, Michael J. and Wayne (Maureen) Vokac; grandchildren, Dawn (Dino) Benvenuto-Martinez, Corinne Everhart, Ronda and Michael Jr. Vokac; great grandson Dominic Everhart; Uncle of several nieces and nephews.
