Roger Mihaljevich Obituary

Roger J. Mihaljevich, age 72, passed away on December 27th, 2011 following a brief battle with cancer. A long time resident of Cicero, Roger spent his final years in Darien. Preceded in death by his parents, the late Michael and Alice Mihaljevich, Roger was a beloved husband, devoted father, and loving grandfather. He is survived by his loving former wife, Pat Mihaljevich; and their children, Ken (Sandy) Mihaljevich, his dearest daughter, Karen Mihaljevich, and David Mihaljevich; and grandchildren Emily, Hannah, David Jr. and Christopher. At the time of his death Roger was a loving husband to Renate Smith Mihaljevich; and is also survived by their sons, Mark (Jen) Smith Sr., Michael (Angie) Smith, and Steven (Heather) Smith; and grandchildren, Mark Jr., Nicholas, John Michael, Keely Marie, and Steven Jr. Roger was also the dearest brother to Alan Mihaljevich and Donna (Larry) Longbehn. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Woodlawn Memorial Park of Forest Park IL. Special appreciation also goes to Burgess Square of Westmont and their devoted and compassionate staff and administrators.
