Roger Doolittle Obituary

Roger Doolittle
Roger Doolittle, of Glenwood, IL, and formerly of LaGrange, passed away on August 11, 2021. Born in 1936, loving son of the late Charles and Bernice Doolittle, dear brother of John Doolittle of Washington, DC, and grateful in-law of Ellen Baker and the Baker family of Ohio.
Roger grew up in Riverside and LaGrange. He graduated from Lyons Township High School where he joined the tennis team. Music was a big part of his life, singing in the choir at the First Presbyterian Church and studying piano as a youth. Every day Roger found joy in his life playing a game of tennis or cards. In later life, he was a student of the Bible.
A private interment will take place with Roger's family at Mt. Emblem Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Roger's name to the First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange Ministry of Music. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Hallowell & James Funeral Home, Countryside. Info: (708) 352-6500 or hjfunerals.com.
