Rodney Stephenson Obituary

RODNEY "ROD" GUYER STEPHENSON Beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather Age 74. Born August 26, 1931 in Brownsville, Pennsy lvania. Passed away June 17, 2006 in Canoga Park, California, after a long illness. He is survived by wife of 53 years, Kay Stephenson; daughters, Cori Stephenson and Lisa Melville (Scott); and grandsons, Kyle and Conner. Rod was employed by Rocketdyne from 1959 until retirement in 1988. Through his work he made many lifelong friends both in the states and other countries. He loved RV'ing, fishing, traveling, and his family. he will be deeply missed by all. Services will be held Thursday, Jun e 22, 2006, 10:00 a.m., at Oakwood Memorial Park, 22601 Lassen St., Chatsworth, CA 91311. CRAWFORD MORTUARY Oakwood (818) 341-1427

Rod was one of my first customers at Carleton Technologies and Moog. He quickly became a mentor, always willing to share his vast knowledge of the industry and project management.

Everyone who ever worked with Rod knew that he was generous and extraordinarily capable.

I feel lucky to have called him my friend. My heart goes out to Kay.
