Although I did not know Rodney personally, I know his son Tim and daughter-in-law Kelly. A man's legacy is that his children are raised to be good, God Loving people who would never dishonor the Family and would treat others as they would be treated. Tim is such a person and is a living testament to his Father. Job well done Rodney and Dolores. Tim and Kelly are raising their two sons in like manner; and so the Family name is honored.
I attended the services yesterday and was very much impressed by the honor the Westmont Fire Dept paid him. It's obvious he led a dignified and exemplary life and had touched the hearts of many by generously giving of his time and talent.
Please accept the sincere condolences of my husband and myself.
