Robert Van Osdell Obituary

I offer my sympathies to family and friends of Robert Van Osdell, classmate of the 1962 class at Proviso West High School in Hillside, Illinois.

I remember Robert from the class of 1962 of Proviso West High School. Prayers for his family and friends.

Oh, no...this really has broken our hearts! We're so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I can still hear his voice as if it were yesterday. He will be greatly missed...and we are grateful for having known him! He is greatly missed! Our love to you and your family....Wende Schmidt (Cookie & Corky's daughter).

While I had not seen Bob since our high school years I have fond memories of him being a very dear friend. My heart goes out to his wife and children and brother John and wife Gail and all the members of Bob's family. You all are in my prayers.

Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also
(John 14:19).

Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

Van Osdell family,
Let not your hearts be troubled because Brother Robert is with the Lord now. He has no more pains or burdens of this earthly life. Take solace in Jesus and know that Brother Robert's joy is now and forever complete in the Lord Jesus Christ...

As a young man, Bob, was very active in the Butterfield Highlands Civic Association. He was a doer and a friend. His passing leaves a void in our neighborhood. God Bless you Bob.

I will miss you..especially you and your brother John together.
