Robert Kentgen Obituary

Robert J. Kentgen, age 63 of Kewaunee died unexpectedly on Friday, October 28, 2011 of natural causes. He was born September 6, 1948 in Elmhurst, IL to the late Albert A. and Ruth L. (Schaper) Kentgen. Robert served in the U.S. Army in Viet Nam and after worked for the U.S. Postal Service for thirty-eight years in Elmhurst, IL. After retiring, he moved to Kewaunee. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and camping. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Kevin and Alison Kentgen, Kewaunee; one step-daughter and son-in-law: Jennifer and Matthew Cuff, Kewaunee; three grandchildren: Kiya, Hunter and Bella Kentgen; one brother and sister-in-law: Russell and Dale Kentgen, Union,IL; a sister-in-law: Diane Kentgen, Mesa, AZ. Nieces and Nephews: Michael (Angela) Kentgen, Kelly (Colin) Jeschke, John (Mollie) Kentgen, Jessie, Shannon, Lindsey Kentgen; eight great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a brother: Gregory Kentgen, two infant brothers: Larry and Garry; an infant sister. Friends may call from 5:00 pm.
