Rita Kantowski Obituary
Rita B. Kantowski nee Krass, age 76, lifelong resident of Lemont, Illinois, with the last seven years spent in North Carolina.
This is not an obituary! This is a tribute to a wonderful woman who raised two daughters, Catherine and Mary; and a son, Anthony. Rita was a dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and a friend of many.
She will be missed by all who knew her. Rita did not want to sadden her family and friends, therefore, she asks nothing from anyone but to be kind to others.
Rita's family expresses their most heartfelt appreciation to the doctors, hospice nurses, and the home aides of New Horizon Home Care.

Funeral services Saturday, November 1, 2014, at 12:45 p.m., at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C., 108 Illinois St., Lemont. Interment SS. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery. Visitation Saturday morning, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Rita was a woman to be admired. She was so happy. Her smile and big laugh, Just amazing! I had the privilege of being one of her caregivers the last two and a half years.Rita had the sweetest ,kindest, most loving and gentle spirit that only comes from god.Rita left behind a legacy of LOVE.Truly gift to all who knew her .
