Rita Auth Obituary

Rita B. Auth
Rita B. Auth, 83, of Cranberry Township died Monday at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.
Born April 19, 1920, in Warrendale, she was the daughter of Ira and Blanche Henry Kirchner.
She was a Catholic and attended Mass at St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church in Cranberry Township.
Surviving are a son, Dennis Auth of LaPlata, Md.; three daughters, Darlene Sensenich of Cranberry Township, Diane Sheets of Portersville and Debra Fisher of Wexford; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Frederick W. Auth, whom she married in August 1939, died in October 1979.
A grandson and two sisters also preceded her in death.
AUTH - Friends of Rita B. Auth, who died Monday, Sept. 29, 2003, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church in Cranberry Township. Burial will follow in Pinewood Memorial Gardens in Cranberry Township.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.

My deepest sympathy to Rita's family. She was a classmate of mine in my senior year at Mars High School. I was a new student at Mars High School, having moved to Mars in March of my senior year. Rita extended her warm welcome,help and friendship to me.

I took care of Rita at Cranberry place. I have been gone from there for almost a year, yet the memories of Rita, her smile, and her kind words are with me. God bless and know that she now resides with the angels, and is no longer in pain.
