Dear Sprague Family:

I was deeply saddened when my mom called and told me that Judge Sprague died -- in the strangest of coincidences a year to the day after my father passed. I always had great respect and admiration for Judge Sprague from the time I was about knee high, through my own decision to follow a career in law all the way to the last time we spoke, at my dad's funeral. My mom or dad would always pass along kind things the judge would say about me and boy would that make me proud.

God bless Mrs. Sprague, the kids and grandkids. May you all find peace.

Sincerely,

Patty Best

I'm so sorry for your loss. I appeared in front of Judge Sprague many times, and I thought he was a wonderful man. I missed him when he retired, and I still miss him.
