Dick's family, I would like to thank all of you for graciously sharing Dick and Joan with me. I have been blessed with their love and friendship for many years. I along with scores of others will miss him deeply. Dick always spread the love around Ki's, to the servers, busboys and kitchen staff. We will always keep his jolly face in our hearts and memories.

Rich,
Your Dad was a great guy and I admired him. He was the first person I spoke with when I became a member of the Charter Chapter in 1994. I was glad I saw him again this year in Springfield. He came up to me after I spoke and thanked me for acknowledging him from the podium. He was a class act.
God Bless you and your family.

To the family of Richard:
I had only talked to Dick for a total of about two hours. I have always made it a point to never judge anyone on their work ethics until I first know the person. In the short time Dick and I spoke I can truly say he was a man of inspration. He was truly a educator and a man of wisdom. A our last Board we had discussed talking with Dick about the History of the Illinois Plumbing Inspectors Association of which Dick was one of the original members. I am truly sorry we didn't get to talk with him sooner. He will be truly missed. The family members should be very PROUD of Dicks accomplishments through out his life.
My condolences,
Gary Howard President I.P.I.A
