Dear Sichrovsky Family, I am surprised and sorry to hear of Sy's passing.
I met Sy during the course of family history research a few years ago, calling him out of the blue after finding his name in the phone book. The good thing is he didn't think I was crazy and we had a great conversation, with numerous others after that. Although we never met in person I considered him a great friend and will miss our meetings of the mind in regard to the Bures/Buresh genealogy.
I hope you will take comfort in knowing that he lived a good and noble life being of service to his fellow man and that he has at last been reunited with his beloved grandparents, parents and baby brother about whom he spoke so much.
