Richard Schweig Obituary

Richard E. Schweig, 82, long time resident of Elmhurst. Beloved husband of 61 years to Bernardine M. nee Goveia; father of Lee (John) Griffin, Richard F., Edward A. (Jodi), and Kurtis E. (Carol Allen); grandfather of eleven; great grandfather of one. CEO of Lawrence's Fisheries in Chicago, a family business founded in 1950. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Private funeral service and interment at Mount Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst. An open house in celebration of Richard's life will be held on Saturday February 27 from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M at Beacon Hill Residence, 2600 Finley Road, Lombard, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated for the Christ Church of Oak Brook, 501 Oak Brook Road, Oak Brook, IL 60523 or Loyola University Medical Center, Attn: Development Office, 2160 S.
