Richard Wayne Kus, age 81; beloved husband of Marilyn G. Kus, née Wajda; loving father of James C. (Sharon) and Lawrence T. (Claudia) Kus; dearest grandfather of Austin and Hailey, and Christopher, Alyssa, Savanah, Sheila, Keila, and Angelina; dear brother of Carole (the late James Pugh) McGirl Pugh and the late Robert (Carol) Kus; cherished son of the late Kazmer J. Kus and Elizabeth Milligan, née Kocal and stepson of Galo Milligan; fond uncle and friend to many. Richard was an Oak Park Police Officer for 26 years and a proud Army Veteran.
Visitation Friday, November 26th, 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Saturday, November 27th, 8:45 a.m. from Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home 4343 Main St. (1 Blk So. of Ogden Ave.) Downers Grove, Illinois 60515 to St. Joseph Church. Funeral Mass 9:30 a.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org/donate) or Mercy Home for Boys and Girls (https://donate.mercyhome.org ), are appreciated.
